Trademark Registration

Trademark search, filing, objection replies and oppositions to protect your brand name and logo.

A registered trademark gives its owner the exclusive right to use the mark for the goods or services it is registered for, and a clear basis to act against infringement. Trademarks are registered under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 in one or more of the 45 classes of goods and services.

The process begins with a search for conflicting marks, followed by the application, examination, publication in the Trade Marks Journal and — if no opposition succeeds — registration, which lasts ten years and can be renewed. The chambers conducts searches, files applications, replies to examination reports and represents owners in opposition proceedings.
